The Annual Dessert Auction and Toastmasters Speech Competition is one of the best nights of the year! The candidates present their formal speeches for the first time and answer an impromptu question as they celebrate the completion of their Toastmasters Public Speaking Training. They have also crafted some delicious desserts to auction off - and that’s when the bidding begins! This is a fundraiser for our program and an amazing way to support the candidates as they present their speeches for the first time.

Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Doors open at 6:00pm. Ticket sales have now closed and there are no tickets at the door.

The program for the evening will include:

• A cold buffet dinner featuring assorted salads, buns, meats and cheese

• Impromptu & prepared speeches by the candidates

• Evaluations from the Toastmasters

• Dessert Auction

This event is one of our major fundraisers with proceeds going towards the four bursaries awarded in June and other program expenses.
